What is the Grant Program?:

Chase and the Independent Restaurant Coalition (“IRC”) (individually or together “Sponsor” or “Sponsors”) supports independent restaurants and bars that are leading the way in innovating new business models or practices that prioritize sustainability and/or a commitment to the health and well-being of their teams and local communities. This Grant Program will provide financial support in the amount of $25,000 to forty (40) selected independent restaurants and bars (each, a “Grant”), enabling them to further develop their innovative practices and continue to lead by example.

In the ever-evolving landscape of the food and beverage industry, independent establishments are at the forefront of innovation, demonstrating that business success can go hand in hand with responsible practices. The IRC and Chase believe that these establishments are not just places to eat and drink—they are the heart and soul of our neighborhoods. They create jobs, support local farmers and artisans, reduce environmental impacts, and foster a sense of belonging and shared values. By investing $1 million throughout 40 small businesses nationwide, the IRC and Chase aim to empower and uplift those who are making a difference, ensuring that their efforts are recognized, and their practices can be shared and adopted by others.
